Allergy Friendly Unleavened Bread (gluten/dairy/egg free)

March 15, 2018 DUB Food Allergy General Nutrition Kids Recipes Travel Unleavened Bread Recipes 9

Allergy friendly unleavened bread ideas are updated for 2022 and are here!

DUB is coming up (that’s Days of Unleavened Bread) and I frequently get asked for unleavened recipes that are gluten/dairy/egg free. That’s a hard enough combination any other time of year without worrying about leavening! That’s why I’ve compiled some ideas on Pinterest.   You’ll notice that some cookies and bars in this group do call for baking powder/soda. Omit the leavening.  It doesn’t change cookies and bars too much. So that’s why I included them in this Pinterest collection.

So what’s included in this Allergy Friendly Unleavened pinterest board?

Flatbreads

Flatbreads and savory options: flatbreads, tortillas, savory vegetables fritters, Indian spiced socca (chickpeas). All gluten free, egg free, dairy free.  Some are grain free, nut free or can be substituted with sunflower or pumpkin seeds.

Treats

And… How about some allergy friendly unleavened sweet treats: shortbread cookies, chocolate tarts, magic cookie bars, berry cobblers and crisps, brown rice crispy treats and much more (nut free options, lower sugar and cane sugar alternatives too)!

Cheesecake

Or… What about five different kinds of vegan cheesecakes? Yes- all dairy, egg and gluten free. Nut free option too!

Hmm it appears like your website ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any points for first-time blog writers? I’d genuinely appreciate it.
